| Cheque presentation to 1st Rural Roughton Mill Scouts |

Roughton WI had the great pleasure today of presenting a cheque to our charity for the past year, 1st Rural Roughton Mill Scouts. They are kind enough to often put on activities for us, and today we were treated to sessions of archery and rifle shooting, followed of course by tea and cake. |

| Cheque presentation to Cromer Hospital |

Over the last year, our WI has been fundraising for Cromer and District Hospital Allies Eye Department (cataract appeal). We were delighted at our October meeting for Zoe (our President) to be able to present a cheque for £1,000 to Mike Ayden, from Cromer Community and Hospital Friends. |

| Cheque presentation to Acorns Pre-School, Roughton |

Our President and Treasurer recently presented a cheque for £1,200 to Acorns Pre-School, Roughton. We have been fundraising for them for the last year holding various events, and hope that the amount raised will be benefit the children at the pre-school. |

At our March committee meeting, we thanked our 2 retiring committee members, Sue and Angela, for their hard work and help during their terms in office, and our President Zoe, presented them each with a bouquet. |

Our charity chosen for 2020 was St Marys Endowed Primary School, Roughton. We raised £500 for them to spend on books, and these were presented to the school in July 2022 (delayed due to the Covid pandemic) Zoe and Jill can be seen in the photo, making the presentation |

| Advisers Accolade Award for 2021 |

At the Annual Norfolk Federation meeting at the Theatre Royal in Norwich, our delegate Maureen, accepted on our behalf, a certificate in recognition of member's engagement with their WI, pulling together and overcoming obstacles. This was one of 3 presented this year in acknowledgement of the difficulties that had been faced during 2021 and the Covid pandemic. |

| WI member has exhibit picked for display in Norwich Fire & Rescue exhibition in aid of charity |

One of our members has recently been working on a piece for the Ashes to Art Exhibition (Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service). If you are able, please go and view all the brilliant helmets on display in Norwich at the Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form this coming week.
